This investigation began in January 2026, when members of Pennsylvania State Police Troop K – VICE began looking into a narcotics trafficker in Northeast Philadelphia. Law enforcement employed a combination of tactical investigations to further develop intelligence and establish probable cause. Members of the Troop K unit were able to make purchases of Ecstasy and Cocaine and determine that two locations were being used to further this illicit activity. In early May, search warrants were executed at 412 Tomlinson Road and 1814 Gregg Street. The following items were seized as a result (totals are an approximate weight):
- 70 pounds of Marijuana
- 20 pounds of THC Gummies
- 16 pounds of Psilocybin Mushrooms
- 3500 grams of Rock MDMA
- 2550 Grams of Ketamine
- 2500 grams of Cocaine
- 4100 MDMA pills
- 16oz of Promethazine
- 24 Firearms
- 10K + rounds of ammunition
- 200+ Magazines including a large quantity of High-capacity Magazines
- (2) 3D Printers
- Several 3D printed handgun lower receivers
- $19,383 United States Currency
- Numerous items of paraphernalia
The estimate street value of the drugs totals $1.5 million dollars. This investigation is active and ongoing.
“These two individuals collected enough illegal paraphernalia to wreak havoc on the city and county of Philadelphia and likely beyond,” said District Attorney Larry Krasner. “Several of the guns recovered are considered weapons of war and there were enough to cause significant harm. It’s through the exceptional work of our Dangerous Drug Offenders Unit, in collaboration with our law enforcement partners, that we were able to get these guns and drugs off the streets of Philadelphia before the summer.”
“It is clear that some of the firearms seized could have been converted into machine guns. In addition, the two 3D printers were recovered in various stages of ‘ghost gun’ production,” said Assistant District Attorney Stephen Girman, Dangerous Drug Offenders Unit. “If left on the streets, these weapons could have had a catastrophic effect on residents of the city and state. I’d like to thank our partners with the Pennsylvania State Police for their investigative work on this case, specifically Captain Jonathan Sunderlin, Section Commander Lt. Ryan Burza, and Patrol Trooper John Lindeborn. Additionally, I would like to thank the Philadelphia Police Department and the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General and the Attorneys of the Dangerous Drug Offenders Unit. This work could not be be done without our partnership with the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas (HIDTA) program.”
