For the Commonwealth: Assistant District Attorney Keion Cook

Thanks to Assistant District Attorney Keion Cook for helping secure justice in a case involving a defendant who pleaded guilty to Violation of the Uniform Firearm Act (VUFA) 6105, Possession with Intent to Distribute, and related offenses. The defendant was apprehended after fleeing from police on foot during a traffic stop. Three polymer firearms (also known as “ghost guns”) in his possession were recovered from the scene in addition to crack cocaine and over 70 rounds of ammunition. DNA linked the suspect to the ghost guns. The defendant was sentenced by the Hon. Zac Shaffer this week to 5-10 years of state incarceration and a period of probation.
