Thanks to Assistant District Attorney Ashley Avera of the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office Major Trials Unit for helping secure justice in a case involving a defendant found guilty for committing felony burglary and for stealing over one dozen firearms from a private residence. At the time that the defendant committed these crimes, he had been out on parole after serving a period of incarceration in Delaware County for a rape conviction. The defendant was sentenced late last month by the Hon. Nick Kamau.
