Philadelphia’s Shifting Juvenile Justice Paradigm: An Economic Analysis

Philadelphia’s Shifting Juvenile Justice Paradigm: An Economic Analysis is a sweeping socioeconomic analysis of Philadelphia’s juvenile justice system that critically examines how spending for system-involved youth has continued to decline over the last six years while costs for supporting them have climbed. The analysis also provides recommendations for more effectively utilizing taxpayer money to meet the needs of our city’s system-involved youth. The study was made possible by a generous grant from the Neubauer Family Foundation and was produced by EConsult Solutions, Inc.
