
PHILADELPHIA (November 10, 2025) – The Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office charged Defendant Fredrick Arnold (DOB: 06/25/1950) for his role in a Domestic-Related Non-Fatal Shooting which occurred on the 1300 Block of Hale Street in the Oxford Circle section of Philadelphia.

On Sunday, November 9, 2025, at approximately 11:00pm, Philadelphia Police responded to the 1500 Block of Hale Street in reference to a female shot and person with a gun. Upon arrival, the defendant opened the door with a firearm in his hand. The defendant was detained and the victim, his wife, was located on scene suffering from multiple gun shot wounds to the face and head. The victim was transported to Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital, where she was placed in critical, but stable, condition.
The case has been specially assigned and will be prosecuted with vigor and determination by Assistant District Attorney Allison Christian of the DAO’s Family Violence & Sexual Assault Unit (FVSA). At the arraignment hearing, the DAO requested $2 million cash bail and a Stay-Away-Order (SWA). The court set cash bail at $1.5 million. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for November 21, 2025 in courtroom 306 at the Juanita Kidd Stout Center for Criminal Justice.
The DAO’s Victim Services Unit will work collaboratively with our external contracted partners at Woman Against Abuse (WAA) to provide the critical and necessary support services to the survivor and co-survivors impacted by this traumatic and senseless act of violence as they journey towards healing in pursuit of justice.
