From September 2025 to October 2025, Philadelphia Police began to receive several reports for stolen license plate tags and gun-point robberies in Center City and North Philadelphia. Victims reported robberies on the 1000 block of Cherry Street, 1100 block of Race Street, the 1700 block of Chestnut Street, and the 2000 block of Walnut Street. The robbery suspects wore masks that covered their faces, possessed firearms and used Honda sedans with tags registered to different Hondas.

After a high speed car pursuit of a white stolen Honda sedan that began around the 2100 block of North 19th Street and ended with a car crash on Kelly Drive on October 27, 2025, Philadelphia Police officers found Carlos Bristow, Nyere Gredic, and Hasan Robinson among the occupants inside the stolen vehicle. Detectives also recovered from the vehicle firearms, cell phones, and stolen credit cards and an ID from a previously reported robbery. Further investigation using the cellphones from the car crash revealed photos, videos, and browsing history that linked the identified suspects to their crimes.

These individuals have been indicted as a result of a grand jury investigation and bail is set at $1 million for each defendant.

“I want to thank ADA Manuel Colon and the DAO’s Gun Violence Task Force for its detailed work on this case,” said District Attorney Larry Krasner. “The data shows that the vast majority of violent crime in Philadelphia is concentrated among a very small fraction of the population. For those who want to be a part of that small minority, there are handcuffs and jail cells waiting for you.”

“I want to thank the victims in this case who, through their courage in coming forward, helped to hold these defendants accountable for their actions,” added ADA Manuel Colon of the Gun Violence Task Force. “Without the help of these victims, detectives at PPD’s Central Division, and our federal law enforcement partners, these individuals might have continued to wreak havoc on our community. As a result of their assistance, we are able to move forward with prosecution and bring these defendants to justice.”
