DA Krasner Statement on Passing of Philadelphia Police Officer Jaime Roman

PHILADELPHIA (September 11, 2024) — “On behalf of the over 700 prosecutors, support staff, victim advocates and law enforcement who work at the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, our thoughts and deepest condolences are with the family of Philadelphia Police Officer Jaime Roman during this very difficult time of grief and loss. Our office will seek to bring a charge of Murder generally against the defendant and will vigorously prosecute this case using all forensic and law enforcement resources available in seeking justice. Our Victim Services Team will continue to be available to support the family, friends and law enforcement colleagues of this remarkable, heroic, and dedicated Philadelphia Police Officer.”
