DA Krasner Statement on July 4th Mass Shooting in Southwest Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (July 5, 2024) — “After surveying the crime scene this afternoon and meeting with residents alongside Mayor Cherelle Parker, Council President Kenyatta Johnson, Councilmember Jamie Gauthier, state elected officials, faith leaders, and community advocates, I want to assure the survivors and co-victims of this horrific incident that my office is providing victim services to all who need them. We are here for you.

“This remains a very active investigation, and I urge members of the public with any information about the perpetrators to contact law enforcement immediately so that we can hold those who caused such pain and suffering accountable to the fullest extent of the law.”
