Thanks to Assistant District Attorney Trey Flynn of the DAO‘s Homicide and Non-Fatal Shootings Unit for helping secure justice in cases involving a defendant who discharged a firearm at two individuals in September and October 2022 in the city’s Fairhill section. One of the shootings pertained to a dispute over money in narcotics sales. ADA Flynn utilized eyewitness testimony, ballistics analysis, video surveillance, and cell site data to secure the convictions. The defendant was found guilty of Aggravated Assault, Possession of an Instrument of Crime, and related firearm charges. He is scheduled for sentencing in February 2024 before the Hon. Anthony Kyriakakis.
