Thanks to Assistant District Attorney Spoorthi Datla of the DAO’s Municipal Court Unit for helping secure justice in a case involving a defendant found guilty of repeatedly punching and strangling his former partner in August 2023. The incident occurred while the victim and her children were visiting the defendant’s house. ADA Datla utilized police photographs of the victim’s injuries and audio of the assault recorded by the victim to achieve an assault conviction before the Hon. Francis McCloskey, Jr.
