Thanks to Assistant District Attorney Sean Perez for helping secure justice in two cases involving one defendant who is accused of fatally shooting two people in North Philadelphia in April 2021. The defendant and a co-conspirator committed one murder on the 2500 block of W. Somerset Street; the defendant alone committed a second homicide on the 2900 block of N. Taney Street. In prosecuting these cases, ADA Perez utilized ballistic evidence obtained by investigators that linked the defendant to a recovered firearm used in the murders. The defendant is scheduled for sentencing in June before the Hon. J. Scott O’Keefe.
