Thanks to Assistant District Attorney Cydney Pope of our Homicide and Non-Fatal Shooting Unit for helping secure justice in a case involving two defendants accused of fatally shooting a 17-year-old high school student and injuring two others outside of a corner store in southwest Philadelphia in April of 2020. The defendants were convicted of Murder, Aggravated Assault, Conspiracy, illegally possessing firearms, and related charges. Both defendants were sentenced by the Hon. Diana Anhalt to life without the possibility of parole on November 29, 2022.
