Thanks to Assistant District Attorney Tito Valdes of our Family Violence and Sexual Assault Unit for helping secure justice in a case involving a defendant found guilty by a jury of sexually assaulting the child of a friend whom the defendant was helping while the victim’s mother was taking care of a hospitalized grandparent. The defendant is scheduled for sentencing in February of 2023 before the Hon. Jennifer Schultz.
