Thanks to Assistant District Attorney Greg Dachko of the DAO‘s Carjacking Enforcement Unit for helping secure justice in a case involving a defendant charged with viciously assaulting an Uber driver on LaSalle University’s campus on the evening of April 21, 2022. The female victim was beaten unconscious before the defendant and his co-conspirator, who had attempted to steal the car, fled the scene on foot. The jury found the defendant guilty of Aggravated Assault and Robbery. The defendant is scheduled for sentencing by the Hon. Jennifer Schultz on December 1, 2023.
